The Seismic Assessment of Existing Buildings (the Guidelines) provides a technical basis for engineers to assess existing buildings within New Zealand. Two now-superseded versions of the Guidelines may have been used for building assessments. These are available below for territorial authorities, engineers, and others who may need to review reports produced using the superseded versions.
The superseded versions of the Guidelines published below should not be used for new assessments of existing buildings.
